Part of the IWA Digital Water Programme
The Digital Transformation Hub (DTHub) brings together suppliers, utility representatives, and water experts, providing a depository of knowledge and experiences in line with Objective 4 of the IWA Digital Water Programme: ‘create a focal point in IWA for the digitalisation of the water sector’.
The main aim of the DTHub is to provide digital water professionals with an up-to-date overview platform sharing pilot experiences executed within a utility environment.
The objectives of the DTHub are:
– To provide an overview of reported pilots in the digital water domain (e.g., systems, tools, sensors, platforms, IT solutions, robots devices);
– To focus on Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 4-8;
– To highlight the latest insights/lessons learned from the pilots.
All the pilot experiences will be collected and organised under four themes (i.e., operational digital solutions, sensor/robotics, data management, and IT-infrastructure & security). Each theme addresses a specific topic and more domains could be added in the future if required.
This theme focuses on experiences and lessons learned from water and wastewater utilities following the implementation of commercially available operational digital solutions as part of their digital journey.
The pilots are below:
– | The Aquasuite OPIR tool, Vitens |
– | BLU-X™ Wastewater Network solution, Xylem |
– | Future City Flow in Gothenburg, DHI Group |
– | Future City Flow in Trollhättan, DHI Group |
– | OpenFlows WaterSight, Aegea/Bentley Systems |
– | Mapkit, Kampala Water |
This theme focuses on experiences and lessons learned from water and wastewater utilities following the implementation of digital platforms related to managing data (and metadata) as a valuable resource.
The pilots are below:
– | modelEAU, Université Laval, Canada |
Your contribution is very important to us! If you would like to include your pilot experience in the DTHub, please download the input template here and send it back to erin.jordan@iwahq.org
