About the Fellowship
Launched in 2022, the IWA & Grundfos Youth Action For SDG 6 Fellowship provides participants unparalleled networking and career development opportunities, allowing them to gain international visibility and access to a global network of experts within and beyond the water sector.
The Youth Fellows can enhance their interpersonal skills, gain valuable teamwork experience, and cultivate critical thinking abilities. Finally, the Fellowship also offers participants a unique chance to deepen their knowledge of both local and global water challenges, equipping them with the expertise needed to drive impactful change in the field.
Fellowship Outcomes
2023-2024 cohort
The culmination of the 1st cohort of the IWA and Grundfos Youth Action for SDG 6 Fellowship was a publication, which aimed to highlight the important role young people play in the UN 2030 SDG Agenda, focusing on how their energy and brilliance can transform the water sector. Each chapter of this anthology is a mosaic of the Youth Fellows’ projects, carefully chosen to reflect their unique contributions toward achieving the SDGs, with a focus on SDG 6. This publication was co-authored by the IWA & Grundfos Youth Fellows and edited by IWA.
