Virtual SG Leaders Forum

The IWA Specialist Groups (SG) Leaders Forum is one of the best opportunities for SG leaders to discuss and work together on facilitating networking and knowledge exchange mechanisms, allowing greater interaction, collaboration and better access to the networks’ knowledge and expertise, as well as strategic planning and implementation.

Coordinated by IWA Secretariat and the SC2SG, the SG Leaders Forum provides a unique opportunity for the IWA SGs leaders to communicate with each other and also with the IWA Secretariat.

On 19 April 2023, the IWA will host a Virtual SG Leaders Forum focused on ‘Enhancing engagement and collaboration among Specialist Groups‘.

To accommodate different timezones, the Forum will be held twice:

• 08:00-09:30 London time
• 14:00-15:30 London time SG Leaders are welcome to join one or both sessions.

The SG Leaders Forum is open only to Specialist Groups Leaders (Management Committee, Chair or nominated representative). Leaders of IWA Working Groups, Task Groups and Clusters are also invited to join.

The Forum will discuss:

• How to better communicate within SGs
• How to develop a ‘realistic’ annual plan
• How to use the full potential of the recently launched IWA Connect Plus Platform.
• During the meeting, SG Leaders will be invited to use the collaborative tool GroupMap.
