Drought Action

Water scarcity affects more than 40% of the global population. Severe water scarcity and drought in Africa, Asia and Latin America impact four billion people daily. To act upon this unique opportunity The International Water Association and the Australian Water Partnership are inviting 200 leaders from the public and private sector, including ministers, business leaders, scientists and civil society, to take part in a historical summit: the world’s first multi-stakeholder Water Scarcity and Drought Summit on 10 October 2016 in Brisbane as part of the World Water Congress and Exhibition.
