The International Water Association (IWA) Sustainable Development Goals Taskforce was formed in 2017 to identify a valuable role for IWA to play in attaining the SDGs. This research recognised three roles: Supporting the development of SDG knowledge amongst members; strengthening the connection members feel to 2030 agenda; promotion and guidance of how IWA members can establish a SDG driven agenda within their organisations, institutions countries and IWA groups.
To support its members, the Taskforce developed this slide deck for use by IWA members. The SDG slide deck contains:
- General overview on the Sustainable Development Goals and its targets
- Updated 2020 statistics on progress
- How IWA is contributing to the SDGs
