Biography

Samson Chan is a Senior Engineer at the Consultants Management Division of the Water Supplies Department, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.  He has been working in the Water Supplies Department for more than 10 years.  He demonstrated excellent skills in project planning, waterworks design, hydraulic analysis and optimization as well as customer services.  He is currently responsible for the project management and implementation of the expansion of the Tai Po Water Treatment Works project.

Apart from his duties in the Government, he has been a committee member of the Young Members Committee of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and has organized a series of activities including seminars and site visits to enhance the engineering knowledge of young engineers in Hong Kong.
