Richard Loeffler is a Senior Practice Solution Architect at Xylem. He has spent 16 years serving the water sector. Much of his time has been spent working with utilities to research, develop, design, and implement a variety of disinfection systems for water and wastewater applications, particularly for potable reuse systems in the western USA to support water stressed areas. Rich now is focusing on co-designing intelligent urban watersheds with clean water utilities to deliver outsized economic impacts via optimized treatment and conveyance. He holds a Biosystems Engineering degree from Clemson University, focusing on natural resources and the environment.
