Biography

Eng. Peter G. Kahuthu is currently the Head of Technical Services Division at Nyeri Water and Sanitation Company Limited (NYEWASCO) in central part of Kenya. Key responsibilities include: Policies development and implementation, Efficient water and sewerage services provision, strategic proposals development, offering leadership to the technical division and advising the MD on technical matters.  He is also the YWP (Nyeri Chapter) patron after successfully steering the company to IWA membership in 2018. for the time he has been with NYEWASCO, he has developed several substantial water and sewerage project proposals which have qualified for financing and successfully implemented

He has over 15 year of experience in water sector with speciality in management, water and sewerage projects planning and design, operations & maintenance and related activities.

He previously for over eight years with Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company as a design/operations engineer.
