Biography

Keith TAM was retired from the Drainage Services Department, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 2014, after 36 years of working on wide spectrum of civil engineering works in public and private sectors. He was the project team leader on Sheung Wan drainage improvement project to resolve the flooding threat at a 10 hectares low-lying area, including the construction of the second underground floodwater storage tank in Hong Kong. He is now re-employed by the Drainage Services Department to offer his expertise in major drainage channel projects, village flood protection schemes and operation and maintenance of urban drainage and sewerage systems and major river networks. His latest involvements on engineering innovations included river channel ecological restorations and pollutant removal by wetland eco-system.
