Biography

Karin Klitgaard is Director of Environmental Policy at the Confederation of Danish Industry, which represents more than 19,000 companies in Denmark within the manufacturing, trade and service industries. Her expertise lies in environmental strategy, eco-innovation, European and Danish environmental policy, and circular economy. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Roskilde University and has previously held senior management positions at the Danish Environmental Protection Agency and the Ministry of Environment.
