Isabella Susnjara is the Co-Chair of the Organisation Committee. Discussions about increasing water demand and supply pressures triggered Isabella’s interest in ICT solutions that advance efficient water use. Her Master’s thesis investigated farmers’ investment decisions for irrigation ICTs such as GPS assisted laser levelling and smart meters.
Furthermore, throughout her studies Isabella has been involved in debates concerning economic and policy frameworks for urban water access in Latin America and India. She is interested in integrating water resource data systems in order to optimise management practices and inform policy initiatives that aim to alleviate poverty and provide urban water and sanitation access.
Isabella recently completed her MSc in Water Science, Policy and Management at the University of Oxford and is entering a research degree in Computer Science at ETH, Zürich.
