Hong Li, Ger Bergkamp, Glen Daigger

Biography

Hong Li is the Manager for Science, Technology and Specialist Groups at the International Water Association. She has been coordinating specialist group activities and was in charge of the conference series of IWA Leading Edge Water and Wastewater Technologies (LET conferences). Currently Hong works closely with Strategic Council, members, partners and leading experts in the water sector to strengthen the strategic position and activities related to water science and technology and at the same time coordinating member engagement and collaborations through Specialist Groups, Clusters and Task Groups, as well as IWA Fellows.

Ger Bergkamp is the President and CEO of ARCOWA – an innovative advisory on water management, resource recovery and green infrastructure. ARCOWA focuses on initiating, inspiring and investing in sustainable water solutions. Previously he was the Executive Director of the International Water Association – the international network of water professional. He is a recognised leader in water, environment and sustainability with over 30 years of experience. As a CEO / Director, programme coordinator, scientist and private consultant, he has supported colleagues in over 40 countries world-wide to develop new solutions for sustainability.

Glen Daigger is currently Professor of Engineering Practice at the University of Michigan and also President and Founder of One Water Solutions, an Engineering and Innovation firm. He was President of the International Water Association from 2010 till 2014. Widely recognized for his contributions, he has received a number of national and international awards and he also served as Professor and Chair of Environmental Systems Engineering at Clemson University, and is a member of the US National Academy of Engineering.
