Regina is driven by the “integration” part of Integrated Water Management, because of the value she sees in synergistic approaches to managing complex water management issues.
As Manager for Research, Training and Partnerships at the International WaterCentre, Regina helps to formulate and manage research ideas and teams, and to translate research to application for water and WASH practitioners.
Regina is a part of several WASH research teams, and several action partnerships – partnerships with implementers to build their organisational capacity to do better WASH and integrated water management. Regina’s particular WASH interests include participatory and effective governance, using IWM approaches to integrating WASH with water resources management, WASH behaviour change, and monitoring, evaluation, learning and response for WASH programs.
Regina has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Science and a PhD in Marine Ecology.
