Biography

Apostolis is a founding member and the Managing Director of EMVIS Consultant Engineers SA. He has a proven successful record in managing multidisciplinary teams, contract administration, financial management and business scale up.

He has a deep knowledge of the water sector with focus on science and technology innovation. With an overall professional experience of 20 years in the water sector he has coordinated SPACE-O H2020 Research Project, PrimeWater H2020 Research and Innovation Project, iFOS Business Innovation Project and participated in more than 15 sponsored research projects.

In the field of water resources management, he has been working as a Team Leader in several projects with water industry stakeholders and he provides specialized consultancy services and advisory work to competent central and regional water authorities. He is acting as an expert advisor to DG REGIO for water policy implementation. His research activity includes 17 publications in International Journals and Conference Proceedings. He is an active member of authoritative professional associations (IWA, CIWEM, ISWA).
