IWA needs to address the changing needs of its young members, attracting and empowering them as they are considered to be the Emerging Water Leaders. The Emerging Water Leaders (previously known as the Young Water Professionals) Steering Committee is a representative body of young members (35 and below) that provide advice to IWA to stay relevant and current as well as engage our young members in connection, professional development and learning activities that empower young professionals.

IWA members aged 35 and below are requested to carefully read the applications (motivation, commitment, and engagement in IWA) provided  in the Downloadable area on the right and choose their:

• Chair and
• 5 Representatives

Pick those who you feel will voice your needs, your wants, and your wishes for your profession and your participation in the IWA network and who will be a great representative to empower all young water professionals in the water sector and IWA.
