In her keynote speech, Yuriko Koike raises attention on the initiatives taken to realize resilient and sustainable water supply and sewerage systems in Tokyo to support a sustainable urban water cycle.

Yuriko Koike serves currently as the elected Governor of Tokyo, being the city’s first female governor. Previously, she was a member of the House of Representatives of Japan since early 1990s, and acted for a short term as Minister of Defense.
