These guidance notes have been written by the DMA Team of the Water Loss Task Force. The Water Loss Task Force was set up at the IWA “Water Loss Management – A Practical Approach” Specialty Conference in Cyprus in 2002. At that conference the production of these guidance notes was also proposed in order to meet the need for information on best practices for DMA management.
