Description

MiCT, Seecon, and BORDA are inviting journalists and bloggers from Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, and Syria to state-of-the art conflict sensitive journalism trainings on water related topics.

Trainings will combine journalistic skills development – with a focus on conflict sensitive journalism – with water related knowledge sharing. The sessions will be interactive and participants will leave the training with hands on ideas and storyboards for interesting/thrilling water stories.

Participants will be asked to submit their stories, once published. Out of all participants, a jury of SDC, MiCT, Seecon, and BORDA will select the best story. The author will receive the special “Water Open Eye Award” and a prize money of 1,000 USD.
