Young and mid-career professionals with a relevant science bachelor interested in hydrodynamics, sediment transport and morphodynamic developments
The aim of the course is to get practical experience in setting up and running a morphodynamic model with Delft3D including grid generation, sediment transport formulae and waves.
Upon completion, the participant should be able to understand the principles of morphodynamic modeling by means of a 2D/3D numerical, process-based model (Delft3D) and apply this knowledge to simple but realistic case studies
