From widespread pesticide use to heavy metal emissions from vehicular transport to microplastic release into the environment, diffuse pollution has become a major threat to air, soil and water bodies. The IWA 4th Regional Conference on Diffuse Pollution and Eutrophication (DIPCON 2022) aims to encourage research, create awareness,  and bring researchers and decision makers together to understand and solve environmental problems caused by diffuse or non-point sources of pollution. Moreover, DIPCON 2022 aims to address a wide range of issues associated with urban and agricultural contamination of water, air, and soil resources along with the impact of climate change. DIPCON 2022 will bring scientists, engineers, hydrologists, policy makers, NGO, and water regulators together to  contribute to the scientific debate towards alleviating these adverse environmental effects.
