IWA Stories: Jacob Amengor. Jacob Amengor is the 2018 IWA Young Leadership Award winner. Hailing from Ghana, Jacob is the Water Quality Assurance Supervisor at the Ghana Water Company Limited as well as the Chief Coordinator of iWash Africa. He studied Water and Sanitation at the University of Cape Coast and that is where his passion for working in the sector started. He aims to focus on providing both access to clean drinking water and decent sanitation. This passion stems from the observation of projects in rural areas tend to focus on either water solutions or sanitation.
