Biography

Xiaoyuan is an associate professor in School of Environment, Tsinghua University. His research focuses on wastewater treatment, and wastewater energy and resource recovery.

He is a member of the Managing Committee of IWA Young Water Professionals China Chapter, a guest editor for IWA official WeChat News in China, and a Program Committee Member of the International Young Water Professionals Conference 2019.

He currently serves on the IWA Emerging Water Leaders Steering Committee as the Specialist Groups -YWP coordinator
