Reema Parikh is currently working as a Technical Team lead at CDD Society, Bangalore. An engineer by training, she is passionate about sustainable environment and development. She has been working in various themes of environmental sustainability like water resources, low carbon growth, climate change, energy efficiency over the past 10 years. As a part of her role at CDD Society, she is extensively involved in managing and designing of natural wastewater treatment (DEWATS), faecal sludge treatment plants.
Ms. Parikh holds her Master of Science in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University, USA. During her Master’s her research focus was on understanding the occurrence and fate of indicator organisms in a tropical watershed. She holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from CEPT University. Her strong interest is in facilitating inclusive and sustainable development of Indian cities.
