Biography

Yanyan joined IWA in 2014 to support the coordination of Specialist Groups activities, working alongside the Specialist Groups Manager to provide an effective channel of communication between IWA, Specialist Group leaders and members. She also supported the coordination of IWA Fellows activities and their involvements in IWA relevant events.

Currently, Yanyan is managing the Membership Fulfilment and Administration; Individual Member Retention & Recruitment; and Data Analytics and Reporting.

Prior to joining the IWA, Yanyan worked as an event manager at China National Intelligent Transport System Center for six years in Beijing, mainly responsible for planning and organization of national conferences, trainings and international communication events relating to Intelligent Transport Systems.

Yanyan cares about the environment and has a particular interest in drinking water supplies and sanitation in developing countries.
