Wenjun Sun is an Associate Professor at the School of Environment, Tsinghua University. He is an IWA member, and a key member of the COVID-19 Task Force. in addition, he is also Vice-President of the China NF industry Alliance, Vice-President of the China Ozone Technology Committee of the China Environmental Protection Machinery Association, and PI of the Modern Water Purification team at the Research Institute for Environmental Innovation (Suzhou), at Tsinghua University. Research areas include municipal water treatment theory, water and wastewater treatment technologies in rural areas, industrial water treatment technologies, water quality and health, environmental risk analysis, UV disinfection and advanced oxidation technologies, activated carbon technologies, and high quality water supply system. He has published more than 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and academic conferences.
