Biography

Varghese Babu, a management professional, graduated from Model Engineering College Kochi, India with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering. He further obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur in India.

Before joining IWA in 2019, Varghese worked as General Manager Information Technology for Whirlpool India, South East Asia & Oceania regions. Prior to that, Varghese worked with AkzoNobel across diverse global roles in Information Management in project management, applications delivery & business partnering.

At the IWA, Varghese is responsible for the IT function and digital transformation. In this role, he partners with key stake holders in charting out the digital strategy & it’s execution aiming at superior membership engagement & user experience.
