Biography

Umazi joined the IWA in March 2016, and her role involves networking for IWA in Africa with the aim of building a thriving network of water professionals across the continent; working to increase IWA’s membership in the Africa Region; and promoting IWA s mission to create a water wise world. She also handles administrative tasks for the IWA Africa office.

She has over 6 years of experience in front office and administration and holds an advance diploma in Public Relations and French. She is currently in her final year of a Bachelor’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies at the Africa Nazarene University in Nairobi.

She has a passion for learning different languages and discovering different cultures, she loves linguistics and connecting with people.
