Siyka Radilova
Senior Project Officer - Diversity, Equality and Inclusion

Biography

Siyka has a passion for equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and has worked with private sector companies, NGOs, the public sector and European institutions. She attained a BA degree in Social Sciences from Bulgaria. She continued her studies in London and holds an MA degree in Social Anthropology of Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.

Her focus is on supporting employees to reach their full potential and feel understood and valued. Her interest is in helping the most under-represented, unprivileged and vulnerable groups of people and individuals in developing countries. Recently, she worked with RedR providing training for humanitarians working in disaster and conflict zones. She has also worked on a circular economy project in a post disaster/post conflict environment, humanitarian organisations, the private sector, UN, the UK government and academia. Career highlights include work with International Synergies delivering a workshop during the G7 Alliance for Resource Efficiency.  She also worked with Climate KIC on international  projects focusing on various aspects of EDI.

Siyka has experience assessing project proposals at government level such as the DFID programme dealing with the ‘Girls Educational Challenge/ Leave No Girl Behind,’ programme.

Outside of work Siyka relaxes with walks in the woods, baking and city cycling.
