Biography

Omi is a Geographer at Western Sydney University. Her research work is on water governance and regional planning. She has experience in dealing with multi stakeholders’ participation. She is passionate about bringing more inclusive planning for better implementation. She has been doing research through an interdisciplinary perspective and believes in bringing stakeholders to one platform and forming a networking governance system. Her current focus is on the concepts of planetary boundaries, and she finds it intriguing and the future of planning. She aspires to bring change through people’s participation in the process.
