Min Yang

Min Yang is a professor of the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is focusing on the identification and control of harmful pollutants in drinking water and wastewater. His group has published over 300 papers in international journals, applied for over 100 patents, and provided technical support to over 30 wastewater treatment engineering projects. He created the North Research Center for Rural Area Wastewater Treatment affiliated with the Ministry of Urban-Rural Development in 2008, the CAS-TWAS Center of Excellence for Water and Environment in 2013, and the National Engineering Lab for Industrial Wastewater Treatment Technologies (re-organised as National Engineering Research Center of Industrial Wastewater Detoxification and Resource Recovery in 2021) in 2016.
