Kit Dashwood is studying biochemical engineering at Queen’s University in Canada as a Loran Scholar.
His journey into the world of water began in 2015 when he spent four months in rural Cambodia maintaining BioSand filters and developing a cloud monitoring and evaluation system. This experience spurred him on to learn more about water systems around the world and it landed him at the hub of water professionals, IWA.
As an intern in the BioCluster, Kit is working on a state-of-the-art report on biotechnologies in the water sector. Kit is leveraging the vast amount of knowledge available at IWA so that he may become a smart water leader in the future.
