Leadership Engagement Manager


Kirsten is Leadership Engagement Manager – Emerging Water Leaders – responsible for mainstreaming of learning and professional updating throughout IWA’s member activities with a particular focus of serving our young and emerging water leaders in IWA. She is currently also coordinating and leading the IWA fellows community.

She joined IWA in 2009, with a background in International Business Administration, and Development Sociology, with the main motivation to contribute to changing societal behaviour and professional development in the water sector. Throughout her IWA career and various roles, she has become an expert in Capacity Development in the water sector, who led on IWA’s work on assessment, planning and development of human resource capacities in the water sector.
