Biography
Kambiri is a hydrogeology professional from the Caribbean island nation of Trinidad and Tobago. She worked for the national water utility as a Senior Hydrological Technician before moving to Europe to complete a joint masters program in Groundwater and Global Change in Portugal, Germany and the Netherlands. She holds an MSc in Water Science Engineering from UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, as well as an MSc Applied Geosciences and BA Earth Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
At the International Water Association, Kambiri contributes her water resources research experience to the Member Engagement department as Manager, where she oversees engagement in the IWA communities (Specialist Groups, Task Groups, Young Water Professionals, Regulators). Kambiri also manages the Climate Smart Initiative under WaCCliM, a joint project with GIZ.
