Biography

Hagimar serves as IWA Emerging Water Leaders Steering Committee Member.

He is a freelance consultant and researcher based in Northern Uganda.

From Mai 2017 to July 2019 Hagimar was Executive Assistant and Programm Coordinator at German Water Partnership. He was coordinator for activities/research regarding digitalisation, energy efficiency, industrial water and China. Previously, Hagimar worked for the German Environmental Ministry’s International Climate Initiative (IKI) in Berlin and the German Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.

Hagimar is the current Vice Chair of the German IWA YWP Country chapter. He has a Master in Development Economics as well as Globalization Studies, specializing on international development and environmental economics, from the University of Paris 1 and Fudan University Shanghai.
