Biography

Prior to joining IWA in October 2014, Eva has worked and studied in Spain, Sweden, Germany and The Netherlands. With an academic background in Agricultural Engineering (UPM), Biology (SLU) and International Water Management (WUR), during the last 10 years, Eva has worked in different roles in the water industry and agricultural sector. Her main interest is the efficient use of water in agriculture with a particular interest in the wastewater reuse for irrigation in urban and peri-urban areas.

Part of Eva’s responsibility as  Global Events Manager is to deliver the scientific and technical programme development for IWA congresses Tier 1 events,  such as World Water Congress & Exhibition, Water and Development Congress & Exhibition and the IWA Leading Edge Technology Conference.
