Biography

Dr. Ir. Mohmad Asari Daud, an accomplished engineer, is the President of the Malaysian Water Association and CEO of Perlis Water Company. With degrees from UTM and Liverpool, he has held significant roles in Malaysia’s Public Works Department and private consultancy. His extensive career includes advising on water operations across ASEAN, leading Malaysia’s bid for the 2028 IWA World Water Congress, and serving as a key figure in IWA activities since 1999. Dr. Asari is a passionate advocate for developing countries’ participation in IWA and has contributed to numerous international water conferences and forums.
