David Omolo holds a BSc in Environmental Science from Kenyatta University, Kenya, and an MSc in Water Resources Management from UNESCO-IHE, Netherlands.
He has an interest in community empowerment, wetland ecosystem services, climate change and water shed conservation. David has had international experience working on different water management issues in Spain, Portugal, Tanzania, Kenya and the Netherlands, all related to watershed management and community empowerment. In his home country, Kenya, he has worked with communities in wetlands conservation and water resources conservation. His current research interest is on how improved water accounting, using geospatial data, can better inform decision making in water distribution and consumption across all sectors.
