Biography
Chrysa joined the International Water Association as an intern in the Cities of the Future Programme in 2015. She has a Master Degree on Urban Planning and Regional Development from the University of Thessaly, Greece. By being a member of IWA community she enhanced her interest on how to integrate water in urban planning and she evolved her knowledge on urban water related topics, after succeeding few years of work experience. In her current position as a Conference Programme Officer Chrysa is managing one of the biggest annual IWA congresses while she is responsible for supporting the IWA Specialist Group events. Her aim is to make successful events for members, participants and partners to meet, update and network.
Chrysa is keen on meeting new people, different ideas and novel projects. Her long-term goal is to learn more about the urban water field and get involved in this type of projects. Apart from Greek and English Chrysa speaks German and has a basic knowledge of Dutch.
