Cheryl Davis and Diana Guio

Biography

Cheryl Davis is a Principal at CKD Consulting and Chair of the IWA Best practices on Workforce Sustainability Specialist Group.

Diana Guio worked as independent sustainability consultant prior to join IWA as Learning and Capacity Development Officer. With a background in chemical engineering and environmental science, Diana has worked on Capacity Development and sustainability issues for several organisations both at national and international level during the last 10 years. In the past, she worked for CAP-NET, the international network for capacity development in sustainable water management, developing two well-known training materials on IWRM planning and Gender and Water. More recently, she worked for Greenpeace, providing analysis, project coordination and strategic advice for the Detox water and Oceans campaigns. As part of this work, she supported Greenpeace’s efforts to develop their capacity for research and investigations in East Asia and South East Asia. She also worked for GRI, managing training projects on SMEs and supply chain sustainability reporting for international clients. In her country (Colombia) she developed curricula for a BSc on Environmental Engineer, and worked for a local government agency on environment and health issues.
