Biography

Brenda Joined IWA as a Project Officer in 2013 to coordinate a Capacity Building in Water Quality Monitoring and Surveillance project in Ghana and also support the operations of the regional office in Africa. Currently Brenda is a programmes officer based in Ghana and her primary roles are to support various thematic programmes including AquaRating and the Operations & Maintenance Network among others, in order to support the main objectives of IWA with a special focus on the African region.

Prior to her engagement at IWA, she was an Assistant Basin Officer at Water Resources Commission in Ghana where she was in charge of assisting in the implementation of Integrated Water Resource Management Plan in the basin, education and Public awareness activities and provision of technical support for collaboration with relevant stakeholders for the management of the basin.

Brenda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana and currently pursuing a master’s degree in environmental science from the same university. She graduates in 2017.
