Ana Carrasco is an Ecuadorian lawyer with a master degree in Energy, Resources and Environment Law from the University of Melbourne, in Australia. Here she specialised on the topics of resilience in the context of human rights and climate change with special focus on the cases of the “sinking islands” in the Pacific Ocean. Additionally, Ana studied Public International Law in The Hague, Netherlands.
With a professional experience as legal counsel in both the public and private sector with strong preference for environmental law, she also possesses extended experience providing high level administrative and legal support to CEOs and high rank government officials. Further, she was Visiting Professional at the International Criminal Court.
Currently, Ana holds the post of the IWA Executive Assistant.
