Sharing your work, experiences, findings and lessons learned in the water sector is crucial to advance water sector solutions. One way is by presenting your work, your research, your project at conferences. During this webinar experienced presenters (and award winners at other conferences) will guide participants to develop their story and messages, design their slides and prepare themselves to be on stage.

Learning Objectives

After this session, participants will:
– Understand how to decide on the key messages and storyline of your presentation;
– Be able to develop and design presentation slides that are supportive of delivering your key messages;
– Be able to design and structure a Technical Session presentation in powerpoint for the audience to which they present – order of content, set the context of your presentation, focus on key messages, design visuals that aid key messages;
– Be able to prepare for being the best on stage: the verbal presentation; how to deal with nerves, posture and practice;
– Understand how to deal with question, and more.
