Researchers, Consultants, Students interested in modelling of treatment wetlands. This short course is recommended for people working in the areas of treatment wetlands for wastewater and stormwater treatment, biological treatment systems, ecological design and groundwater hydrology.
This two day short course on the modelling of subsurface flow constructed wetlands using the state of the art HYDRUS Wetland Module incorporated in the HYDRUS software will be held in Gdansk, Poland, on 3 & 4 September 2016 in conjunction with the 15th IWA International Conference on “Wetland Systems for Water Pollution Control”. This is an exciting opportunity to learn how to operate one of the most advanced simulation tools available for treatment wetlands in the world.
• Understanding principles of mathematical models for treatment wetlands
• Understanding of structure of biokinetic models
• Understanding the requirements and needs for performing a simulation study for treatment wetlands
• Learning to apply the HYDRUS Wetland Module for setting up models for VF and HF wetlands
