Workshop on Performance Based Contract for Non-Revenue Water

IWA is working with the World Bank in a partnership to help countries improve the management of their Non-Revenue Water (NRW). In order to strengthen the market participation of the private sector in Vietnam, a training will be hosted in Hanoi, in the two days after the Vietnam International Water Week, 26. – 27.03.2020. The main goal of this training is to build the knowledge and capacity of local companies in Vietnam in order to participate together with water utilities in project on the reduction of NRW through ‘Performance-Based Contracts’(PBCs). Target audience for the training are Vietnamese companies that operate in the fields of construction, water technology supply, infrastructure maintenance, but also PPP (Public-Private Partnership) consultants. The two-day event will be facilitated by an experienced consultant through IWA. During the first day, the focus will be on Non-Revenue Water management and the specific context in Vietnam. The second day of the workshop concentrates on Performance-Based Contracts, their design criteria and experiences with these contracts for NRW reduction. There is no participation fee for this invitation only event, but attendees will be expected to cover any related travel or accommodation costs incurred in order to attend.
