Description

Major topics will include sensory
evaluation methods, odorant detection and identification techniques, taste and odour compound
generation mechanisms, and control strategies. The symposium will serve as a platform for researchers and practitioners from the water supply
and aquaculture industries, promoting Industry-Academia-Research collaboration and mutual
benefit. The event will be jointly sponsored by the Research Center for Eco-Environmental
Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences (RCEES, CAS), Xi’an University of Architecture and
Technology, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Water Purification Technology Periodical Press.
Prof. Min Yang (RCEES) and Prof. Tsair-Fuh Lin (Chair of the Specialist Group) will serve as
Co-Chairs of the symposium. The program will feature keynote speeches, invited talks, oral
presentations, poster sessions, workshops, and a technical tour to visit the largest reservoir in Shanghai.
