We are pleased to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding between the International Water Association and the Nature Conservancy (TNC) has been officially signed at the World Water Congress on 12 September 2022.

The MoU will intensify the existing collaboration between the two organisation and will help to identify areas of strategic convergence. The two environmental organisations support a shared vision in which water is wisely managed and biodiversity thrives. The organisations will work together to protect ecosystems and conserve nature, while satisfying the needs of human existence. The shared goal of the partnership is to work on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) mainstreaming in water infrastructure, planning, spending and management among utilities and regulators worldwide.

With this partnership, IWA underlines its commitment to sustainable, integrated blue-green infrastructure for a water wise future.
